Pitch roof or build debris shelter
Pitch a carried tarp or construct a debris shelter.
| Mode | The Wilds |
|---|---|
| Camp work group | Shelter and rest |
| Base work time | 60 turns with a tarp, 320 without a tarp but with a saw, or 520 otherwise. |
| Supplies | One Tarp and two cord lengths, or eight Split fuel and three cord lengths without a usable tarp. |
| Requirements and choices | Use non-water ground. An existing tarp roof must first be recovered. Without a tarp, an existing debris shelter can only be rebuilt below 50% condition. A tarp can replace debris shelter. A two-tile hammock blocks this job. |
| Work quote | The menu includes your current body penalties and the selected tool condition. The quoted duration and any fire-lighting roll are saved when work starts. |
| Starting shelter | Debris starts at 45% quality and a tarp roof at 65%. Effective cover also depends on condition. Thicken a debris shelter before relying on it for rain cover. |
