Mend worn cloth, gear or shelter
Mend a deployed site or one carried cloth-like item below 90% condition.
| Mode | The Wilds |
|---|---|
| Camp work group | Craft and repair |
| Base work time | 80 turns with a usable sewing kit and cord. Otherwise 25 turns with tape. |
| Supplies | One sewing kit charge and one cord length, or one tape patch. |
| Requirements and choices | Deployed net or snare comes first, then shelter, then hammock, then carried gear. Sewing is preferred when usable and cord is available. With no cord, usable tape can take over. A frozen fresh-water net needs an open hole before repair. |
| Work quote | The menu includes your current body penalties and the selected tool condition. The quoted duration and any fire-lighting roll are saved when work starts. |
| Carried repair types | Starting worn clothes, sleeping bags, wool blankets, bivvy sacks, sleeping mats, tarps, nets, hammocks, coats, oilskins, canteens, bows and fishing rods. |
| Condition restored | Deployed traps, shelters and hammocks gain 40 condition. A carried item gains 45 with sewing or 25 with tape, capped at full. For a carried type, the most worn copy is mended. |
