Choosing supplies and keeping records

Read the makeability note beside each supply before choosing your ten items. Some can be made at a workbench or in Camp work, while others have a simpler substitute. A fireboard, bark bowl, debris shelter and bed of boughs can cover needs that the ship’s gear would otherwise meet.

Workbench crafting in The Wilds uses a restricted recipe list with no gold charge. The Build menu also has its own list of usable structures. Use those menus to check what is available for this run before planning around an ordinary Wayfarer recipe.

Finished runs go into Records, ordered by time survived. Continue needs a living saved character, the current rules version and a run that has not already been recorded as finished. Earlier incompatible saves cannot resume under these rules.

Share my best run on Steam is optional and starts switched off for a new record store. When enabled, it submits the best eligible finished run under the current rules. Turning sharing off stops later submissions. It does not remove a score already sent.
