Friendly

A personal warmth stage for a townsperson you have met. The relationship header reads: Friendly toward you.

Reference
What this measuresPersonal warmth towards a named NPC. It is separate from faction standing, a town’s opinion, worker relationships and Fortress settlers’ ties.
Affinity band25 up to, but not including, 50. Affinity stays between -100 and 100.
Relationship headerFriendly toward you. The ordinary label appears after meeting the person. Your spouse and children use family wording instead.
Base conversational opennessThis meets the base Candid threshold of 25. Specific topics still depend on the person and their history, and personality can alter how candid some answers are.
Growing closerThe first credited Talk topic gives 1 warmth, and a warm reply has its own separate 1 warmth allowance. Each allowance can pay once per NPC in 2,000 turns. Spend a moment together gives 4 warmth with its own 15 turn cooldown.
Food giftsShare some food gives 6 warmth. Bring food for the little ones gives 10 when the recipient is a lone parent, otherwise 6. These rows spend one eligible unprotected plain-food item from the pack when offered. Retain alone does not protect a gift.
Friendship and familyThis label does not begin courtship or marriage. Courtship has a separate 40 affinity threshold and eligibility rules. A proposal needs 70 and an existing courtship with that person.
Which menus offer the leversThe detailed Talk, moment and food rows need a current townsperson record in full-game Adventure. Older town layouts can have fewer social options. The spouse uses separate household controls.
Co-op recordPersonal friendship is currently local to each computer. A host and joiner can read different warmth for the same person. It is saved with that computer’s game record.
