Temporary summons

Curd Golem, Whey Sprite and Sporeling Swarm create temporary allies. They use companion-style combat behaviour, but live outside your permanent companion roster.

A spell page lists the base creature count, health, damage, armour, combat range and lifetime. Mastery and Affinage Arts can change these before the creature appears.

Room and limits

The cast searches the aim tile and nearby rings for free spaces. It can create fewer creatures if there is not enough room. The current creature list can hold at most 8 summons, shared across casters. Summons with the shortest remaining lifetimes are removed first when room is needed. Cached dungeon floors have separate creature lists.

Lifetime

Summon lifetime follows elapsed world turns. Leaving a dungeon floor does not preserve its remaining life indefinitely. A summon that expired while away is removed when that floor is processed again.

Inoculate

Inoculate lets their attacks carry a status: Smoked for a Curd Golem, Brined for a Whey Sprite, and Curdled for a Sporeling. This rider is attached only when the Art is active.
