The Spell Belt and Manna

War cheese is reusable. Put a wheel on the Spell Belt to cast it. A cast needs enough Manna, a ready wheel and a legal target. Most aimed spells need a clear line of sight. Lobbed spells have their own targeting rules.

Each wheel has its own cooldown. Two copies of the same spell cool down separately.

Mastery grows your Manna capacity. It starts at 10, gains 2 for each mastery tier up to 40, then gains 1 per tier up to 60. The Roquelle origin adds 4 above that, and lasting Manna capacity gifts can add more.

Expert mastery reduces that spell’s Manna price by 1. Master reduces it by 2. These discounts share a floor of half the spell’s base price, rounded up.

Rest at a safe spot to refill Manna. Beds, tents, chairs, campfires, hearths and sanctuary ground can provide this. Plain rest on bare ground can restore health, but gives no Manna.
