Learning techniques and pursuing ambitions
Practical learning needs completed practice, an eligible learner, a finished workplace and reachable ingredients. Some techniques also need a discovered sample. Finding that sample means mining or recovering it with a living settler.
Build freight carts, Keep a mother culture, Fit the local stone and Dry feed in batches unlock production recipes. The learner must finish the experiment before its recipe becomes available. Cancelling it or losing the workplace ends the attempt and frees unused ingredients.
An ambition is a longer colony project. Only one can be active at a time. Its first job uses real materials, then the project checks later work, sales, leisure or journeys. Open Stories to see what remains.
