Production orders
Until stock stops scheduling batches when the target is covered. It counts stored goods, loose goods, expected output and cheese still ageing. Growing crops count their expected harvest. This means an order can wait even when the finished goods have not reached storage yet.
Count batches counts completed batches and also allows for work already queued or growing. Repeat continuously keeps asking for another batch. Suspending an order keeps its current progress and ingredients.
Protected reserves and minimum stored amounts can stop new batches from taking ingredients. In colonies with the deep systems, cooking and planting keep the herd’s food reserve, allowing them to use food otherwise protected for people. Other production can be held back by both the people’s food and the herd’s feed reserve.
