Growing crops
A farm plot can be planted when it is empty and you are carrying a suitable seed. A ready crop can be harvested, and a withered crop must be cleared. You can turn off Bump to plant seeds in Gameplay settings and use the plot's interaction menu when you want to sow.
Watered crops grow twice as quickly as dry crops. Rain waters plots, and a nearby water barrel does too. Growth catches up when you return to a field after travelling.
Snow-covered ground can kill a growing crop. A properly roofed room protects the plot from this frost check. Crops that have already reached the ready stage survive it.
Harvests can return seeds, but they are not guaranteed. Each harvest has a 60 percent chance to return seed. When it does, there is a 25 percent chance of receiving two instead of one.
