Reading the Marches (Wayfinder)
Wayfinder teaches maps and travel. Open your world map
| Tutor | Wayfinder. The person’s name and voice depend on the village’s guild. |
|---|---|
| Take the lesson | Teach me to find my way. Accept it through the tutor’s conversation, then follow the current objective under Lessons. |
| Step 1 | Open your world map |
| Step 2 | Set a waypoint on the map |
| Starter hand-out | None. Given when the lesson is accepted. |
| Hand-in gold | 10 gold. |
| Hand-in experience | 15 XP. |
| Hand-in items | Bread |
| When the lesson is done | Open the world map, then add a waypoint. The lesson watches the waypoint count grow, so editing an existing marker does not satisfy that second step. |
| Collect the reward | Finish the current steps, then speak with this tutor again. A completed objective is ready to hand in, and does not pay the reward by itself. Each lesson can be learned once for that character’s lesson record. |
| Shared games | Each player has their own lesson progress and rewards. A guest’s lesson does not use the party’s earlier construction or deed history to skip its opening step. |
| Receiving supplies | Items use the ordinary hand-over, so a full pack can spill them to the ground. Tools can ride in the tool roll below the pack. Gold goes to the acting character’s purse. Livestock is placed beside the giver. |
