The Old Mouth

A market stone takes you to the Old Mouth in the full game when the online hub is enabled. Leave co-op before entering. The game blocks the market stone while you are in a co-op session.

The Traders' Exchange has auctions and requests for goods. Its buttons need a connection to the Exchange. Check the connection and confirmation messages before treating a trade as complete.

The listing form offers one, three or seven days and shows the deposit before you post. A sale returns the deposit and pays the sale price less a 5 percent cut, rounded down. An unsold lot comes back without its deposit. You can cancel your own listing before anyone bids, but that also costs the deposit.

The Exchange refuses listings for boats, mounts, pack animals and items marked Rare or better. The same cross-save restrictions apply to donated community-chest goods, mailed items and goods used to fill requests.

Recognising the market stone

The market stone has a gold ring and gold motes. It is separate from a blue waystone and a violet riftstone. The market stone leads to the Old Mouth when the hub is available.
