Example wing pattern and colour

A harmless butterfly created by Butterfly Migration or Butterfly Drift. These are event creatures with their own short-lived bodies, rather than a pet species.

Base body rewards	0 gold, 0 experience and no entries in its local loot list. Event gifts are separate.
Departure	Butterfly Migration starts a 100-turn timer. Butterfly Drift starts an 80-turn timer. Their tagged butterflies leave when event cleanup runs. Event cleanup is checked every 50 turns.
Earlier wildlife departure	Can be removed by the ordinary wildlife cull before the event timer ends.
Appearance	Three wing patterns and twelve possible wing colours.
Damage response	Uses ordinary creature damage rules. These are event bodies, not combatants with inherited ordinary-species rewards.
