| Breeding partners | Another Hoarfrost Spider. Both animals need happiness above 80, breeding switched on and no breeding rest remaining. Stand the animals next to each other, including diagonally. |
| Shared herd limit | Births stop when the whole recorded herd contains 10 Hoarfrost Spider animals in total. Animals elsewhere and animals with breeding switched off still count. This limit prevents births, rather than limiting how many animals you can own. |
| Offspring species | Two Hoarfrost Spider parents produce Hoarfrost Spider young. There is no further species upgrade for this pair. |
