Secret rooms
A dungeon can hide a room behind a stone wall. Spend a turn beside its hidden door to open it. Diagonal adjacency counts, and the door opens on that first turn. You do not need to wait through repeated search rolls.
Hidden rooms can hold chests, bookshelves, flora, crystal or a caged companion. Their contents depend on the dungeon. A sense that detects hidden things can reveal the door from farther away.
