Patrol Vampire Hunters
Joining a road patrol
An attached hunter is separate from the ordinary faction guards. After an eligible road patrol attempt, a hunter can join if another hunter is already present and any member of the party is a vampire. The attachment roll is twenty per cent. Its starting body has forty health, eight melee damage and four armour before frontier scaling. Ordinary melee damage gains fifty per cent against a vampire before defence.
What it can sense
This hunter begins a chase when the character whose creature turn is running is a vampire within twelve tiles, including diagonals. Its detection does not check sight, so a wall does not hide a vampire inside that range. After losing that signal it gives up on the fifth hunter action without it. Until then it can still pursue and strike the current turn character, which can include a mortal party member in co-op. These are the current attached hunter rules.
