Sending a warband
A warband uses squads and a chosen aim. Scout, Raid, Subjugate, Conquer and Garrison have different requirements. Subjugate applies to towns and villages, while Conquer applies to a Guild seat. Garrison is for a holding you already control.
Keep at least two people at home. The warband needs a packer with Hauling, a reachable boundary, and enough meals, water and salt for the march. Its supplies must be stored, reachable and above protected reserves.
Holdings have loyalty as well as tribute. Distance, tribute rate, a garrison and an active war affect loyalty over time. A garrison also eats from the holding’s meal production, so the amount sent home can be smaller than the gross yield.
