Keeping an outpost supplied

An outpost starts at a scouted frontier trailhead. Send the timber and stone in the party’s packs, then order the camp there. The crew has to build it and still needs food and water while working.

An established camp needs timber for its shelter, meals, water and a crew fit enough to work. Extraction stops if fuel runs out, the depot fills or the local resource is exhausted. The depot remains after the resource runs out.

A supply connection assigns a courier to carry goods to the camp and bring a small load of local exports back. The courier must travel, unload and return before the next interval begins. Pausing a connection leaves a courier already travelling with their cargo.

Before withdrawing an outpost crew, make sure their depot holds the meals and water for the trip home. Their carrying space is limited. The withdrawal quote separates what they can bring from what they must leave behind.
