Display and comfort
Open Settings, then Display, to change Font Size and Font. The same tab has Color-blind friendly colors, which changes good and bad readouts to mint and amber, and brightness controls for night and remembered areas.
The Comfort tab lets you reduce flashes, weather, water movement, background movement, camera movement and interface movement separately. Sensory-friendly mode puts those at their calmest settings and holds Visual Effects at Minimal. Turning it off restores your own choices.
Colour strength softens the colours across the whole window. It is a separate choice, so Sensory-friendly mode leaves it as you set it.
Settings also has Read the game to a screen reader. It passes the message log, dialogue, Look readout and selected menu row to your screen reader. If the game doesn't detect your reader, try Always turn on screen reader support. Turning that extra support off takes effect when you next start the game.
Ground effects in 2.5D
2.5D can show spell marks on the ground as well as effects above it. The current renderer keeps those ground marks aligned far across the map. Your Visual Effects and Comfort choices still control the animation you see.
