Controls and prompts

Settings has a Controls tab where you can find an action and change its binding. Help also has a Keys reference. Use the prompts in your game if you've changed the defaults.

In Adventure, the default movement keys are WASD or the arrow keys. The numpad also gives you diagonal steps. Space, full stop and Numpad 5 wait for a turn. Hold Ctrl while stepping to move without using what you walk into.

Button Prompts in Settings can follow your last input or stay on keyboard or controller prompts. Controller Buttons lets you choose the button names shown, which helps if Steam Input reports your controller as a different kind.

Fortress has its own controls. By default, Space pauses or resumes the colony, the number keys 1 to 4 choose a speed, and Page Up or Page Down moves one level. Shift with those page keys jumps between depth bands.
