An entry in a settler’s life story. The event records what happened, while memories and current circumstances govern lasting feelings.

Reference
Mode	Fortress with life stories enabled.
Life group	Varies with what the memory concerns.
When recorded	A new retained memory has no other event to attach to, and is not a later repetition of a routine memory.
What it means	The first routine feeling is written into the life story. Later ones are counted under Day to day. A memory can fade while the earlier event remains in the story. Its displayed group can be Bonds, Losses, Hurts or Work as well as Feelings.
Reading the event	Open Settlers, select the person and open Life. Why follows a recorded cause. What followed shows events directly linked to it. The entry can also appear in the lives of the other people involved or recorded as witnesses.
