Frost Ewe
A rare Adventure sighting with its own home territory and behaviour.
| Encounter | Mythic overworld sighting |
|---|---|
| Rare encounter | Mythic overworld sighting |
| Mythic starting attributes | 32 health, 0 ordinary melee damage stat and speed 1. Distance and danger tier do not increase these base values. A local safe-zone effect can reduce a hostile creature's health and damage. |
| Sighting conditions | In Tundra, by day or night, within its world-specific home territory. The ordinary mythic sighting route is absent from The Wilds and the demo. |
| Base sighting roll | 1.6% when its own eligible spawn roll is reached. Earlier eligible mythics are checked first, so this is not a chance per turn. A new sighting attempt of this kind is blocked while one is still present and for 2000 turns after its last spawn. |
| Approaching the beast | Can flee when it notices you within 6 tiles. It stops moving when you become adjacent so you can offer its food. Once you have been near or seen it, it can disappear after 26 world turns spent both out of sight and beyond 7 tiles. Being near or seeing it resets that absence timer. |
| Befriending | Use Befriend within 5 tiles while carrying 1 Frost Morel in your backpack. The offer succeeds without a taming roll and turns it into owned livestock that follows you. It spends the matching backpack item even if that copy is Protected. This is separate from whistle taming. |
