| Ordinary interaction | Use Talk and Ask the way from the interaction menu. Sleeping, hiding, commuting, hostility and home privacy can limit conversation. Named story characters can have their own exceptions. |
| Quests | Check the current Quest entry. A title alone does not guarantee work, and an existing quest, location, standing or story state can change the offer. |
| Placement limit | The current Grasse-Verdenne council has a Diplomat staff slot. Building placement and room for staff still apply. |
