Stockpiles and building materials in Adventure
A painted stockpile gives gathering workers somewhere to put what they carry. They prefer a chest in the zone. On open ground, they fill a matching stack before choosing an empty tile. Bulk materials fit 50 to a tile. Gold nuggets and crystal shards fit 25.
Common building resources can come from your pack and nearby storage. Storage must be no more than 20 steps from the spending position, counting horizontal and vertical steps together. Protected materials don't count towards what you can spend, so check the padlocks if you seem to have enough but the order still can't be paid for.
A cost that names a particular item, such as wool, honey or a specific kind of wood, needs that item in your pack. Nearby storage does not pay this part of the cost.
Undo after building
For ordinary tile builds such as walls and bare floors, Undo Build returns the Stone and Crystal Shards paid from your pack. Use it before another action advances the world. Supplies taken from nearby chests or stockpiles stay spent. Replacing a storage container with a larger one cannot be undone.
